    Shawn Colvin has always wanted to go to Bora Bora, so "Music In High Places" has brought us "Shawn Colvin In French Polynesia" (aka "Shawn Colvin Live In Bora Bora"). She may be a

    DVD Picture:
    The 1.85:1 DVD is not anamorphically enhanced and exhibits a colorful picture with natural hues, accurate fleshtones, and deep blacks. Images are generally sharp and detailed, though finer details like clothing textures or grains of sand shimmer and break up slightly. Minor aliasing problems are also detected. The Music In High Places location logos are cut off at the bottom of widescreen displays. On some home theatre displays, viewers may notice diagonal corners or the right side of the frame creeping in slightly, but this minor obstruction often fades with scene changes or dissolves.     I love to read WSR because of the straightforward, professional equipment reviews. I also LOVE the DVD reviews. As a home theatre fanatic, I want to know the technical and quality aspects of my future purchase/rental DVDs with just a brief synopsis of what the movie is about. Other home theatre publications spend way too much space reviewing the movie itself.
