DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD exhibits a raw, unpolished picture that visually supports the subject matter. Images are highly contrasted, but sharp and nicely detailed. The handheld camerawork gives an in-your-face shot-on-video feel, but can be a bit dizzying at times. Colors are naturally balanced, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. While edge enhancement is generally not a problem, there is quite a bit of pixelization that can be distracting at times. (Suzanne Hodges)
