DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD picture offers sharp and detailed images, with generally satisfying contrast and shadow delineation. Colors vary in saturation; perhaps a stylization to depict the variable results in photo developing. At times, colors can touch oversaturation, with vibrant blues, greens, and reds, while other scenes can have a sort of milky or desaturated appearance by comparison. At times, the picture can appear overly dim. Edge enhancement can be bothersome at times, and there is also some pixelization noticed. (Suzanne Hodges)
