Story Synopsis:
Winner of the 1989 Academy Award

DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced, windowboxed/pillarboxed 1.66:1 DVD exhibits a picture that appears to be virutally the same as the previously released DVD. Blacks can seem slightly weak at times but otherwise, colors are nicely balanced, with accurate fleshtones and nicely rendered hues. The picture can have a bit of a soft character, but details and definition are quite satisfying. The source element is revealing of the same amount of artifacts. Edge enhancement is noticed, but is generally not terribly obtrusive. (Suzanne Hodges)
