DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD picture exhibits HD 24p-originated image quality that will suit reality TV junkies just fine. Images vary in sharpness, at times appearing slightly soft or smeared, but details can be quite satisfying. The sky can have a blown-out quality during the bright midday scenes. Colors are rich and vibrant, with the plentiful fleshtones appearing quite natural and suntanned, and blacks deep and solid. Minor smearing is noticed at times. Edge enhancement is thankfully not a problem, but there is occasional pixelization that contributes an excessively
