Special features include an audio commentary track by director Jeff Stein, DVD producer John Albarian, and moderated by Martin Lewis. There are also two subtitle options: Guitar & Pen (song lyrics) and Eyesight To The Blind (liner notes). This Special Edition version adds a second disc, which includes a number of extras Who fans may find of interest. Miracle Cure is a 40-minute documentary focusing on the film's restoration and presentation on DVD. Story Synopsis:
"The Kids Are Alright" is the quintessential rock film documenting two decades of The Who and their performances.

DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced DVD, framed at 1.78:1, exhibits a picture of varying image quality due to multiple source elements and various types of footage. Interviews and stage performances, in both color and black-and-white, range from clean and nicely detailed to peppered with grain and artifacts. Smeared, undefined, or quite sharp can be descriptions of different performances throughout the program. Colors can be rich and well balanced or dated and washed out. Overall, this is a great exploration of The Who that will, without a doubt, be enjoyed by the band

Soundtrack:
The 5.1-channel remastered audio presentations feature all of the music in multichannel surround sound, whether the original source was stereo or mono. The stereo-sourced segments range from being very good to quite admirable, with an aggressive spatial presence. There
