  WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Directed and narrated with passionate enthusiasm by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Jacques Perrin ("Microcosmos"), this film documents from the vantage point of planes, gliders, helicopters, and balloons, the staggering marvels of "Winged Migration." (Tricia Littrell)

DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD picture is nicely rendered, with breathtaking images of migrating birds and their natural surroundings, presented with well balanced colors. Images are generally sharp, though finer details can appear a bit soft or smeared at times. There are a few scratches and some grain revealed in the source element. Edge enhancement is a big problem with this title and is capable of distracting even casual viewers. The cinematography is absolutely engulfing! (Suzanne Hodges)
