After discovering that his girlfriend Clementine (Winslet) has had him erased from her memory, Joel Barish (Carrey) decides that he needs some Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind himself. Undergoing the same operation as Clementine had, Joel attempts to permanently delete all traces of her from his thoughts. But his memories throughout the ordeal are too sweet, and Joel discovers that he doesn't want to lose the memories of the woman whom he still loves. (Tricia Littrell)
