StarGaze II: Visions Of The Universe was created using astronomical images from a variety of different sources, including the Hubble Space Telescope. Accompanied by music from Opus 27, information of each image including its position, constellation, and distance is available throughout the DVD. (Tricia Littrell)
As with the original StarGaze DVD, the anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD exhibits beautiful image quality featuring still shots of celestial bodies. Colors are quite vibrant at times, but sometimes blacks are weak. There are no problems with the transfer or compression, the picture is very solid. (Suzanne Hodges)
Reason #71 Why Readers Love Widescreen Review:
Before reading WSR I was an electronics nebbish. After reading WSR for more than a year, my friends and family consult me on purchasing TVs, sound systems, DVD players, and DVDs. I explain to them the differences between HDTV ready and capable, how to select a TV, DVD, and sound system and recommend that they become an expert like me by buying a copy of WSR. My life has new meaning!
