Relocating and severing ties with family and friends, the Duncans move forward with the experiment and the result appears to be a Godsend. Their new son Adam appears to be happy and healthy and lives a remarkably similar life to the original Adam...until the eve of his eighth birthday, when terrifying visions and night terrors disrupt everything for which the Duncans had dreamed.
