  WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
"The Story Of The Weeping Camel" is a touching story of faith, love, and determination. After giving birth to a little white camel in the Gobi desert, the mother rejects the animal and wants nothing to do with it. Worried that the baby won't survive, a nomadic family makes it their goal to unite mother and child. But when all attempts fail, young boys Dude (Ikhbayar), and Ugna (Ikhbayar) are sent to a nearby town in search of help. Based on an idea by Byambasuren Davaa and Batbayar Davgadorj. (Tricia Littrell)

DVD Picture:
A rare occurrence for New Line DVDs, this title is not anamorphically enhanced. The 1.75:1 picture is quite satisfying for the storytelling, with colors that are naturally balanced throughout. Details are adequate (like clothing textures and camel hair), though some smearing is evident on occasion. There is little in the way of bothersome edge enhancement, though minor pixel breakup is detected. (Suzanne Hodges)
