    Story Synopsis:
    The John Entwistle Band played Live in this 1999 concert in which the viewer has the option of watching interviews and behind-the-scenes action intertwined with the concert or just the actual concert itself. The original bassist for The Who, John passed away on June 27, 2002, and it's apparent that he left behind many who loved him. (Tricia Littrell)

    DVD Picture:
    This engaging stage performance is not anamorphically enhanced but delivers fairly satisfying visuals of the outdoor concert. Colors are nicely rendered with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. The 1.78:1 picture is somewhat soft in appearance, with finer details seeming a bit lacking. Some shimmering and detail breakup is evident in the picture. Nonetheless, fans of Entwistle will be pleased with this release, as the music is the draw to the DVD. (Suzanne Hodges)
