    Story Synopsis:
    By the time Anna (Kidman), a 35-year-old widow, decides to remarry, she becomes engaged to her patient boyfriend Joseph (Huston). But no sooner do the happy couple announce their engagement does a 10 year old boy (Bright) come into Anna

    DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD picture exhibits somewhat of a dark appearance that seems to be complementary to the grave storytelling. The picture can appear soft and undefined at times, while other times images are crisp and well detailed. With the color palette often appearing dark, blacks are quite deep, and fleshtones are well balanced. There can be some pixelization noticed at times, but edge enhancement is limited. For the subject matter, the picture is suitable. (Suzanne Hodges)
