    Story Synopsis:
    Based on the novel by Sloan Wilson, The Man In The Gray Flannel Suit follows Tom Rath (Peck), a businessman who must decide whether family or success is more important. (Suzanne Hodges)

    DVD Picture:
    After an extensive restoration, the anamorphically enhanced 2.55:1 DVD picture exhibits satisfying imagery, despite some inherent dated characteristics. While the color scheme has a bit of a dingy appearance, hues are nicely balanced with slightly brownish fleshtones. Inherent in the source element are flecks of dirt, shifts in color and brightness, and scratches. Some archival war footage is incorporated into the picture, with even more blatant artifacts. Considering the age of the film and the restoration done for the DVD, this is a generally pleasing visual experience.(Suzanne Hodges)

    I love to read WSR because of the straightforward, professional equipment reviews. I also LOVE the DVD reviews. As a home theatre fanatic, I want to know the technical and quality aspects of my future purchase/rental DVDs with just a brief synopsis of what the movie is about. Other home theatre publications spend way too much space reviewing the movie itself. I will make my own judgments on the merits of the movie, what I want from my magazine is some insight on how the DVD will sound and look on my system. WSR gives the reader just that. GREAT mag!
