    Story Synopsis:
    After her husband is found murdered, former movie star Lee Winters (Fonda) decides to take control of his company, Winterchem. With the help of banker Hub Smith (Kristofferson), the two travel to Arabia looking to make a money deal. However, after discovering that a group of Arab investors are up to no good, they aren't sure what they can do about it or who they can trust. (Tricia Spears)

    DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture exhibits satisfying qualities, with generally sharp and detailed images. Colors often appear nicely balanced, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. There are some dated characteristics inherent in the source element, including some film grain and minor flecks of dirt and artifacts. Some pixelization and smeared details are noticed at times, but there is not obtrusive edge enhancement. (Suzanne Hodges)

Readers of all levels of expertise can increase their knowledge and enhance their enjoyment of the Home Theatre experience. Widescreen Review is one of the few, if not the only publication, that actually affects manufacturer’s decisions in regards to their product lines. I believe one of the reasons DTS decoding is so common in consumer equipment is due to the efforts of Gary Reber and his associates. Additionally, the magazine has heralded the importance of a properly calibrated video monitor. Add to this the software reviews, articles on emerging technologies, and meticulous equipment reviews, and you have a magazine that sets the standard for others to emulate.
