Story Synopsis:
Spooky ghost stories and urban legends are the subject of Campfire Tales told by a group of teenagers while stranded in the middle of nowhere. It appears a lot of today

DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD picture exhibits expectedly dark imagery that is perfect for the storytelling. The movie begins with a black-and-white sequence with a nicely balanced gray scale, and evolves into color that is adequately saturated, though blacks tend to appear slightly milky. Viewing in a completely blackened room is mandatory to appreciate the visuals. No bothersome edge enhancement is noticed, but there is some pixelization. (Suzanne Hodges)
