Fans of Pretty Woman will be delighted with this replacement to their previously released non-anamorphic DVD. This new anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD picture exhibits pleasing qualities overall. Color fidelity is well balanced, with accurate fleshtones, nice saturation, and deep blacks. While the picture can be sharp and detailed, especially in comparison to the previous DVD release, there is still some smearing and lack of finer details. Minor pixelization is noticed, as well as an occasional hint of edge enhancement. (Suzanne Hodges)

Reason #72 Why Readers Love Widescreen Review:
I love to read WSR because of the straightforward, professional equipment reviews. I also LOVE the DVD reviews. As a home theatre fanatic, I want to know the technical and quality aspects of my future purchase/rental DVDs with just a brief synopsis of what the movie is about. Other home theatre publications spend way too much space reviewing the movie itself. I will make my own judgments on the merits of the movie, what I want from my magazine is some insight on how the DVD will sound and look on my system. WSR gives the reader just that. GREAT mag! Keep up the good work!
