  WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Captain George Cummings (Shepard) advises The Naval Air Force's three best pilots; Lt. Ben Gannon (Lucas), Kara Wade (Biel) and Henry Purcell (Foxx), that they'll be joined by a fourth wingman on their top-secret mission. When they meet their new partner "EDI," they discover that he's a fully-automated, pilotless "Stealth" fighter. Wary of the warplane at first, it appears to do all that it's supposed to, but when lightning strikes everything changes and suddenly it's man against machine in the ultimate fight for survival. (Tricia Spears)

DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.38:1 DVD picture exhibits very nicely balanced colors that can be richly saturated. Fleshtones are often quite accurate and blacks are deep and solid. Sharpness and detail are satisfying, although some smearing is noticed. The camera always seems to be moving (even in quiet scenes): a thrill ride for some...a potential motion sickness hazard for sensitive viewers with larger home theatre displays. The picture can look pixelized at times, no doubt due to a lower-than-average variable bit rate. There are also some signs of minor shimmering details and occasional edge halos. Still, this visual experience should not disappoint viewers looking for a new action adventure title in their library. (Suzanne Hodges)
