  WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Jack Lemmon won an Academy Award

DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced DVD picture starts off looking quite good, but there are some seriously problematic scenes related to the source element. While some scenes are nicely saturated, others are poorly delineated. Similarly, sharpness is pleasing at times, while other scenes are seriously blurry and undefined. Source element artifacts are abundant, and film grain can also be a problem. Overall, the picture looks dated, but probably quite satisfying when compared to its previous VHS release.
