After the fall of Rome the Irish and the British were never more divided. As the Irish King Donnchadh (O'Hara) was exercising power over England, Lord Marke (Sewell) of Britain hoped to unite forces and take over himself one day. When the king offered his daughter to the winner of an upcoming tournament, young warrior "Tristan" (Franco) won the battle "+ Isolde" (Myles) was excited, thinking that she would finally be with her true love.
