    The anamorphically enhanced 1.66:1 pillarboxed DVD picture exhibits satisfying sharpness and detail. A few scenes are more softly focused, while others are nicely textured. Colors are well balanced, with a subtle, understated look that is consistent throughout the collection. The source element is quite clean and smooth, with a few flecks of dirt and some film grain.
