Even through the heavy edge enhancement that can creep its head into scenes throughout the presentation, especially wide landscape shots, the anamorphically enhanced 2.40:1 DVD picture does look good. Fleshtones are accurate, and colors are well saturated. Details in the shadows are good enough to create dimensionality in the picture, and good image detail brings life to the buildings and faces. There is some compression noise in the background of scenes that can become a distraction at times, but the picture is generally good. (Danny Richelieu)
