The anamorphically enhanced 2.38:1 DVD picture is good, with fairly deep blacks, accurate fleshtones, and vibrant colors. Details are generally captured well, although there are scenes that can look slightly soft. Shadow delineation is not perfect, as detail in the darkest portions of scenes can be lost. I like the movie reviews, and I like the equipment tests. I enjoy the interviews with manufacturers. I also feel that you are a good source for what is coming out next, trends etc. I think you dig a little deeper in your tests of equipment. Sometimes I have to read between the lines, and I know why you don't slam some company's gear. You have more interesting reading.
