  WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Dr. Who (Tennant) finds himself without his faithful sidekick from the past seasons, Rose Tyler (Billie Piper), in The Complete Third Series. Devastated by the loss of Rose, the Doctor walks directly in the path of medical student, Martha Jones (Agyeman), changing her life forever. Together they find themselves traveling through time and space encountering extraordinary events, amazing planets, and the faces of friends and foes; both old and new. The Doctor will need all his wits about him if he is to defeat his oldest enemy, The Daleks, who threaten to end the world. (Stacey Pendry)

DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD shows fairly good resolution, with fine details delivered nicely at times. Shadow delineation is fairly good as well, with details in the darker scenes rendered well. Black levels, unfortunately, are slightly elevated, which can cause the picture to look flat and lifeless. Colors are well balanced, looking bold and vibrant, and fleshtones are natural looking. Edge enhancement is minor but noticeable, and pixilation is recognizable from time to time. (Danny Richelieu)
