In From Dusk Till Dawn 2: Texas Blood Money, a gang of bank-robbing misfits heads to Mexico with plans of pulling off a million-dollar heist. Unfortunately, the gang crosses paths with a cranky vampire, and all but one soon develop a taste for blood.
The 1.85:1 DVD is not anamorphically enhanced. The stylized picture exhibits warm, slightly oversaturated hues. With much of the film taking place at night, shadow delineation could be better. Visual information is wanting in the darker scenes. Slight smearing is apparent, but the picture can also be nicely detailed with good sharpness. Edge enhancement can be a distraction, but pixelization is minor. (Suzanne Hodges)
Reason #127 Why Readers Love Widescreen Review:
I read Widescreen Review magazine because it gives not only in-depth reviews on equipment, as well as new technologies and technical breakthroughs, but also it has the best information on DVD movies in the world!!! Because I love movies so much (I own over 300 DVDs), Widescreen Review helps me decide which ones will look and sound the best without me having to rent hundreds of DVDs each month. The month is not complete without my copy of Widescreen Review magazine!!! Wish I would get two or three copies every month instead of one!!! Thank you for helping me with my passion!!!!
