The third (and final?) entry in the series, From Dusk Till Dawn 3: The Hangman
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD exhibits stylized hues (similar to the other titles in the series) which affect all aspects of the color scheme in the brighter scenes. Detail is wanting, as images are soft, smeared and considerably plugged-up. Pixelization and fine shimmering details are apparent. After dusk, as the film progresses to nighttime, fleshtones are well-balanced and hues are rich and vibrant, with deep blacks. Shadow delineation is nicely rendered in these darker scenes. Occasionally the film changes to monochromatic sepia hues. (Suzanne Hodges)
