The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 picture has a nice, natural appearance with natural colors, accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. Viewed in component video, images are sharp and detailed with nicely rendered background detail and definition, though some instances of edge enhancement are apparent. Contrast and shadow delineation are nicely rendered, as is the overall visual appearance. There are no distracting artifacts or pixelization.
