Winner of three Cesars (French Oscars
The 2.35:1 anamorphically enhanced picture, viewed through the component video output, has a very pleasing visual appearance with rich, vibrant colors, natural fleshtones and deep pure blacks. Images are sharp and detailed into backgrounds, with nicely rendered contrast and shadow delineation. Only some scenes have a soft appearance, but otherwise the picture is quite pleasing throughout. There are no distracting artifacts or pixelization.
Reason #116 Why Readers Love Widescreen Review:
Widescreen Review is my favorite magazine because it is different from all the other A/V magazines. The ads are better, and it seems like all the others (that I subscribe to) have the same boring ads. You also have better product information in your equipment reviews. I love the DVD New Release section. It tells me how much I have to save up for DVD purchases. My favorite section is the Coming Soon To A Retailer Near You section. I have learned so much from this magazine I use information from it every day of my life. I am an A/V fanatic. (ask my wife). Anyway, I will subscribe to this mag forever. Thanks for such a great magazine
