Includes Italian and U.S. trailers, talent biographies, a production notes booklet and a 25th Anniversary featurette with or without subtitles. It also includes the Italian audio version with optional English subtitles.
The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD has a dated, very two-dimensional image that is quite smooth but undefined. Images can appear generally sharp, but fine detail is wanting. Colors are dated, but with balanced fleshtones and deep, undefined blacks. Though the anamorphic resolution makes this picture appear smooth, the lack of definition can be distracting. Minor pixelization and enhancement is occasionally noticed. Nonetheless, this is the best the picture has ever looked.
Reason #49 Why Readers Love Widescreen Review:
Reading Widescreen Review for the past four years has been a liberating experience for me. Issue after issue you continue to write the most intelligent, full depth, and logical reviews and you do not pull any punches. I've bought many of my home theatre items after reading about them in WSR, and I must say they perform exactly as you have written in your reviews. I'll be a customer for a long, long time. Thanks for a great magazine.
