    Story Synopsis:
    Based on the controversial best-selling novel by Bret Easton Ellis, American Psycho unravels the twisted tale of Patrick Bateman (Bale), a young

    DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD exhibits excellent quality, with images that are sharp and detailed, though some scenes lack fine depth and clarity. Colors are rich and warm, with fleshtones that are mostly natural, though sometimes a bit orange. Blacks are engulfing, with visual information nicely rendered in the darkest scenes. A bit of enhancement is noticed, otherwise the picture is solid, with little pixelization. Overall, the image quality will surely please, though a level of clarity and openness is lacking. Fine film grain is revealed is some scenes.
