Bernardo Pucini (Greggio) is a good-natured and dutiful son who is at the mercy of his overbearing father
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD will surely please, with images that are sharp and detailed, with nicely rendered background definition and clarity. Colors are well balanced, with accurate fleshtones, rich hues and deep blacks. Minor source element dirt and artifacts are apparent throughout, but rarely distract. Edge enhancement is occasionally noticed, but overall the picture exhibits pleasing quality. (Suzanne Hodges)
