The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD exhibits bright, bold colors, with balanced fleshtones, and deep blacks. Images are sharp, with nicely rendered fine definition and clarity. Fine clothing details occasionally shimmer, but the picture is mostly solid. Overall, the picture should surely please with only minor pixelization and edge enhancement. Minor source element artifacts are apparent. (Suzanne Hodges)
Reason #103 Why Readers Love Widescreen Review:
It sat on the nightstand while my husband was deployed. It was “his” magazine. I had my own cooking, home decorating type magazines to peruse. However, one night I reached for Widescreen Review. It was love at first read. I learned so much about new technology and products. I enjoyed the articles and appreciated the reviews. My husband returned home from his military commitment in early July. We now share the magazine, and sometimes we even fight over it.
