The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD exhibits a beautiful picture, with colors that are as bold as pageant dresses. The fully saturated picture exhibits excellent balance, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. Images are sharp and detailed, with nicely rendered depth and definition. Though not extreme, the picture has a slightly dark character. Still, shadow delineation and contrast are nicely rendered. The appearance of pixelization is infrequent, and the picture should surely delight. (Suzanne Hodges)
