    Story Synopsis:
    In the tradition of Gandhi, The Ten Commandments, and Lawrence Of Arabia comes a sweeping screen epic busting with spectacle and drama

    DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture exhibits sharp and detailed images, with nicely rendered contrast and shadow delineation. Hues are well balanced, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. There is some minor shimmering noticed in the finer details, and some edge enhancement is detected. Still, the picture should surely please throughout. (Suzanne Hodges)
