The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD exhibits pleasing image quality, with colors that are rich and vibrant, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. Overall, images are sharp and detailed, with good contrast and shadow delineation. There is a bit of edge enhancement noticed at times, but rarely enough to create much distraction. The source is revealing of occasional dirt and artifacts. (Suzanne Hodges)
Reason #64 Why Readers Love Widescreen Review:
As a newbie to widescreen TVs and all they can be equipped with, I have been overwhelmed. Your magazine brings together a wealth of information for the new guy as well as the old dog. It has helped me pick out what home theatre products are right for me, as well as in my price range. I enjoy learning about these new products and different terms for their capabilities every month.
