The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture is generally pleasing, with images that are sharp and detailed, though some minor smearing is evident. Colors are rich and well balanced, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. At times, fleshtones appear slightly orange. While the picture is mostly solid, occasional break up occurs due to shimmering details or pixelization. The appearance of edge enhancement occasionally distracts, but overall the picture is quite pleasing. (Suzanne Hodges)
