    DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD exhibits a lovely picture, with nicely detailed images and rich color. Hues are well balanced throughout, with deep blacks. Unfortunately, edge enhancement is used liberally, but overall the picture is solid and should be quite pleasing (especially for its age). Compared to the LaserDisc (Issue 9), the DVD is preferred for improved contrast and sharpness. (Suzanne Hodges)
