    Story Synopsis:
    Les Rivieres Pourpres (The Crimson Rivers) is the story of twisted killer in a French Alp university town, who is sending the world a message. When Commissaire Pierre Niemans (Reno) is called to investigate a grisly murder, he enters a world of secrets, lies and unthinkable horrors. (Suzanne Hodges)

    DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD picture exhibits images that are sharp and nicely detailed, though some scenes are somewhat soft or slightly smeared. Colors appear rich and fully saturated, with well-balanced fleshtones , and deep, pure blacks. There is infrequent edge enhancement and occasional pixelization noticed. Overall, the picture should be satisfying. (Suzanne Hodges)
