Subscribe FreeRookie Of The Year is a delightfully funny and warmhearted sort of old-fashioned fantasy story about a twelve-year-old baseball enthusiast, Henry Rowengartner (Thomas Ian Nicholas), who becomes a pitcher for a professional baseball team. The young talent can throw the meanest pitch recordable which impresses the Chicago Cubs, until Henry breaks his arm. But alas, when the cast is removed, Henry miraculously becomes a world champion, attaining his dream to play with the Cubs after all, living up to be the youngest relief pitcher in Major League history.
