DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD (the jacket provides no picture format details) offers this concert in both color shots of the stage and crowd, and poor-quality black-and-white from the cameras in the audience. The picture is generally sharp, but fine detail and definition are wanting. Color fidelity can be quite natural, with accurate fleshtones and undefined blacks. At times, hues appear a bit oversaturated. Aliasing problems and shimmering details are noticed at times. There is a considerable amount of noise and grain noticed, giving the picture a rough, raw appearance. Still, the DVD is about the music, not the picture, so fans should not be disappointed.
