A zombie attack brings chaos to Harvardville Airport. Leon S. Kennedy (voice of Mercier) and Claire Redfield (voice of Court), who fought the sinister Umbrella Corporation during the Raccoon City tragedy seven years ago, are back. In high-octane Resident Evil style, they're ready to battle a rogue warrior who is seeking revenge after his family was killed in Raccoon City. The deadly G-Virus is unleashed, and a new mutated monster goes on the rampage. Will Claire and Leon be able to terminate the virus before history repeats itself? (Gary Reber)

Special features include a look at the Resident Evil 5 video game, The Generation Of DEGENERATION featurette (HD 30:05), voice bloopers, a Faux Leon interview (SD 4:47), ten character profiles, and 12 previews.

The 1080p AVC computer-generated 1.78:1 picture is outstanding, rich in intricate details and texture, with no edge enhancement detected. Completely noise free, the picture casts a three-dimensional quality with excellent deep blacks and shadow detail. The motion-captured visual technology for this art form is absolutely amazing, with so much for the eye to perceive. Even close-up facial animation expressions often reveal amazing realism. This Japanese-produced picture will not disappoint. (Gary Reber)

This is an exciting Dolby TrueHD 5.1 soundtrack with full-on aggressive holosonic® soundfield, full SPL levels, and below-25 Hz bass in all channels during intense scenes. Even the quiet scenes provide enveloping directional surround ambiance to define the scene-specific setting. In fact, there is never a scene without the surround contributing to the enveloping articulated soundfield, whether effects or music laden. While the dialogue is 100 percent ADR (computer generated), articulation and spatial integration are excellent. Foley effects are well integrated and realistic. Some scenes have dialogue spoken from center surround back with precise phantom imaging directly from behind. Even the sound element of this soundtrack is well recorded, with exceptional fidelity and dimension. This is an impressive soundtrack that showcases aggressive directional surround envelopment.
