Abby (Heigl), a successful morning show producer, is looking for a lot in a man. Mike (Butler), her obnoxious TV star, knows men only want one thing. Determined to prove that she's not romantically challenged, Abby takes Mike's advice during a promising new romance, but the unexpected results will stun everyone. (Tricia Spears)

Special features include select scenes commentary with Director Robert Luketic and Producer Gary Lucchesi, six deleted and extended scenes, two alternate endings, a gag reel (HD 10:22), the featurettes The Truth Is Ugly: Capturing The Male & Female Point Of View (HD 12:48) and The Art Of Laughter: A Making Of Hilarious Proportions (HD 15:53), previews, MovieIQ, a digital copy of the film, and up-front ads.

The 2.40:1 1080p AVC picture is nicely photographed, with sharp and clear imagery and a natural color palette. Hues are perfectly natural, with warm and vibrant tones. Flesh appears accurate and exhibits fine tonal variations. Blacks are deep and solid, and contrast is well balanced, with excellent shadow delineation. Resolution is revealing of fine facial features and object textures. This is a great-looking picture that is very pleasant to view. (Gary Reber)

The DTS-HD Master Audio™ 5.1-channel soundtrack is conventionally produced, with production sound and ADR dialogue that sounds generally well integrated spatially, except outdoor scenes, which are disconnected spatially. The focus is frontal soundstage, but the music extends into the surround channels. Other than the music, which is well recorded, surround envelopment is limited, except for occasional atmospheric sound effects. Bass extension is limited as well, though, is effective with certain music segments. Overall, the soundtrack is serviceable but feels "produced," though nicely recorded. (Gary Reber)
