When Denis Cooverman (Rust), the geekiest guy in high school, proclaims, "ILove You" to super-popular Beth Cooper (Panettiere) during his valedictorian speech, everyone is...well...speechless! But the real shock comes that night when Beth shows up at Denis' house with her two best friends to show him how the cool kids party. You'll laugh out loud as Denis tries to keep up with Beth—and stay away from her maniacal ex-boyfriend Kevin (Roberts) and his ticked-off pals. Plus, watch Denis and Beth take their hilarious relationship to a whole new level with the outrageous alternate ending you didn't see in theatres. (Tricia Spears)

Special features include an alternate ending, four deleted scenes, the featurettes I Love You, Larry Doyle (HD 05:54) and We Are All Different, But That's A Good Thing (HD 08:54), the song/demo "Peanut Butter Toast" by Paul Rust (SD 02:48), "Fox Movie Channel Presents In Character With Paul Rust" (SD 03:02), "Fox Movie Channel Presents In Character With Hayden Panettiere" (SD 03:02), trailers, and up-front ads.

The 1.85:1 1080p AVC picture appears natural, with a vibrant color palette and warm hues, for a natural appearance. Contrast is generally excellent, with deep blacks and shadows with depth and definition. Fleshtones are naturally rendered. Resolution is generally good throughout. Overall, the picture is pleasant and enjoyable and won't disappoint. (Gary Reber)

The DTS-HD Master Audio™ 5.1-channel soundtrack is conventional, with a spatially disconnected dialogue track. The dialogue sticks out with virtually no relation to the scene environment. Not all scenes share this deficiency, and a few are actually well integrated. The rock music score is, at times, loud and aggressively forward. Surround envelopment is limited and generally subdued, with atmospheric sound effects. The music livens up the surrounds at times, and the scenes rock. While the dialogue often disconnects with the scenes, the soundtrack nicely serves the story fun. (Gary Reber)
