In "The Spy Next Door," while Bob Ho (Chan) babysits his neighbor's unruly children, they accidentally blow his cover as a spy by downloading secret codes on his computer. Suddenly Bob has to kick into super agent mode and take the kids on an action-packed adventure that turns suburbia upside down. Bob fights off assassins and arch villains, narrowly escapes traps, and outsmarts double-agents while somehow managing to keep the kids out of harm's way. (Gary Reber)

Special features include two featurettes: "Jackie Chan: Stunt Master And Mentor" (HD 10:14) and "Adventures In Acting With The Kids" (HD 11:09), a blooper reel HD 03:15), and up-front previews.

The 1.78:1 1080p AVC picture is vibrant and colorful, yet natural in appearance. Hues are brightly rich and warm. Fully saturated, the colors pop. Flestones are perfectly natural throughout. Dimension is excellent. Contrast is well balanced as well with deep, solid blacks and revealing shadow delineation. Resolution is good, with sharp and clear images. The picture is a pleasurable experience throughout. (Gary Reber)

The DTS-HD Master Audio™ 5.1-channel soundtrack is terrific. The music score is very well recorded, with a vibrant instrumental mix that spreads wide and deep across the soundsdtage and wraps deep into the surrounds with an aggressive holosonic® presence. Dialogue is production sound and ADR, with inconsistent spatial integration. Still, dialogue is intelligible and well recorded. Sound effects are strong and aggressively directionalized. Deep bass extends strongly in the .1 LFE channel, and the overall impact provides a solid low-frequency foundation. This is a fun soundtrack, with a cartoonish attitude but nicely presented. (Gary Reber)
