In Wild Card, Nick Wild (Statham) is a Las Vegas bodyguard with lethal professional skills and a personal gambling problem. When a sadistic thug beats his friend, Nick strikes back, only to find out the thug is the son of a powerful mob boss. Suddenly Nick is plunged into the criminal underworld, chased by enforcers and wanted by the mob. Having raised the stakes, Nick has one last play to change his fortunes�and this time, it�s all or nothing. Based on the novel Heat by William Goldman.

Special features include commentary with Director Simon West, the featurettes Original Sin: Las Vegas And The Characters Of Wild Card (HD 16:26) and Script Vignette (HD 05:17), upfront previews, and an UltraViolet digital copy.

The 2.40:1 1080p AVC picture was photographed digitally with the Red Epic camera system. The imagery is crisp and clean. The color palette is nicely saturated, for a vibrant and richly hued appearance. Contrast is well balanced with deep, solid blacks and revealing shadow delineation. Fleshtones are naturally hued throughout. Resolution is excellent, with fine detail exhibited in facial features, hair, clothing, and object texture. This is a reference-quality picture that is colorful, sharp, and pristine.

The DTS-HD Master Audio� 5.1-channel soundtrack�s music is dynamic and lively with excellent soundfield delineation. The soundstage is wide and deep and extends aggressively to the surrounds. Low-frequency .1 LFE is energized during the music segments and action sequences. The fight scenes are intense and accentuated with sound effects. Atmospherics also are effectively produced with dimension. This is an engaging soundtrack with moments of holosonic� envelopment.
