In "The Shed," Stan (Warren) and his best friend Dommer (Kostro) have put up with bullies their entire lives. All of that changes when Stan discovers he has a murderous vampire living in his shed. Seeing the bloodshed and destruction the monster is capable of, Stan knows he has to find a way to destroy it. But Dommer has a much more sinister plan in mind. (Gary Reber)

The 2.39:1 1080p AVC picture, reviewed on a Sony Bravia Z9D 4K Ultra HD HDR display, upconverted to 2160p with greater resolution and luminance, was photographed digitally and sourced from a 2K master Digital Intermediate format. Resolution is excellent, especially in close-ups of facial features such as skin pores, lines, beard stubble, hair, object textures, and clothing. Environmental settings appear natural throughout with nicely saturated hues with earthy tones and realistic fleshtones. Colors are nicely saturated with strong primaries that pop. Contrast is well balanced with deep blacks, revealing nighttime shadow delineation punctuated with lighting effects. Overall, picture quality is good. (Gary Reber)

The DTS-HD Master Audio™ 5.1-channel soundtrack delivers dynamic sounds with intense bursts of transient deep bass energy. Dialogue is a bit forward with segments of ADR and is wanting in spatial integration. The orchestral score is intense and edgy with a wide and deep soundstage and aggressive extension to the surrounds. Deep bass can excite the .1 LFE channel with intensity. Sound effects excite the soundstage for dramatic impact. This is a soundtrack primarily driven by a very active music score, atmospherics, and sound effects that propels the storytelling. (Gary Reber)
