"Red Shoes And The Seven Dwarfs" is an outrageous fairy tale spoof, which starts as Snow White steals a pair of red shoes that transform her into a princess. Meanwhile, a witch's curse turns seven brave princes into dwarfs, forcing them to seek out the princess, hoping for a kiss to break their spell. Together, they must face Snow White's wicked stepmother—who will stop at nothing to get her precious shoes back—and, along the way, learn that true beauty lies within. (Gary Reber)

Special features include a making-of featurette (HD 14:56) and "From Storyboard To Animation: Creating Red Shoes And The Seven Dwarfs" (HD 04:50), the "Start of Something Right" music video (HD 03:12) "Something So Beautiful" (HD 03:00), upfront previews and a digital code.

The 1.85:11080p AVC picture, reviewed on a Sony Bravia Z9D 4K Ultra HD HDR display, upconverted to 2160p with greater resolution and luminance, was animated digitally and sourced from a 2K master Digital Intermediate format. The animated picture is well crafted with excellent textural renderings. Color fidelity is excellent with nicely saturated hues and strong primaries. Various hues often pop. Contrast is excellent with creative shadow treatment, deep blacks and brightness. Resolution is superb with impressive detail exhibited throughout, such as the fabrics of the clothing worn by the dwarfs. This is a very colorful and lively animated feature. (Gary Reber)

The DTS-HD Master Audio™ 5.1-channel soundtrack is ADR dialogue focused that sounds "produced" and quite forward sounding. At times, atmospherics fill the soundstage. Surround engagement involves directionalized sound effects, as well as an orchestral/choral score that envelops the soundfield. Deep bass is a characteristic of the voice in the mirror and an explosion. Some of the sound effects deliver good surround energy. Outdoor ambient environmental atmospherics and effects are effective throughout. The music and songs provide energy and dynamic range. Overall, this is a pleasing holosnoic® soundtrack. (Gary Reber)
