"Twelve" is a suspenseful urban crime thriller in which White Mike (Crawford) is a young drug dealer straddling the mean streets of Harlem and the party palaces of upper Manhattan. Mike's double life comes crashing down when a highly addictive new drug called "twelve" hits the streets, unleashing a shocking wave of passion and violence. Based on the novel by Nick McDonell. (Gary Reber)

Bonus material consists of up-front previews.

The 1.84:1 1080p AVC picture was photographed digitally with a rough "grungy" quality. Contrast is not particularly well balanced, and as a result blacks are crushed and poorly defined, as well as shadow delineation. The color palette appears filtered, for a stylized effect. Fleshtones are sepia hued, for an unnatural appearance. Overall, this is not a particularly distinguished picture, with a drab visual presentation. (Gary Reber)

The DTS-HD Master Audio™ 5.1-channel soundtrack is conventional sounding, with a chesty dialogue sound, with poor spatial integration. Kiefer Sutherland's narration throughout is effectively balanced and close miked. Atmospheric sound effects are frontal focused, for an overall monaural presence. The music score is well recorded and provides a wide soundstage presence, with aggressive surround envelopment. The overall quality of the soundtrack's fidelity otherwise sounds distorted. This is not a particularly distinguished soundtrack. (Gary Reber)
