In "Spinal Tap II: The End Continues," the band reunite after a 15-year break for one final concert. (Gary Reber)

special features include an upfront preview.

The 1.85:1 1080p picture, reviewed on a VIZIO Quantum X P85QX-JI UHD/HDR display, was photographed digitally using the ALEXA 35 and Arri Alexa 35 camera systems and sourced from a 2K master Digital Intermediate format. The setting is individual small business locations operated by each band member, a rehearsal house, and the New Orleans concert stadium. The picture is pleasantly colorful. The palette exhibits naturally saturated hues with warm tones. Flesh tones appear natural. Contrast exhibits solid back levels, revealing shadows and realistic white level illumination. The production design is well dressed with guitars, recording equipment, and numerous objects. Resolution is generally quite good. Facial features, such as makeup and hair.are nicely resolved. Costumes are flashy. Locations, backdrops and objects resolve well. This is a clever and fun visual experience that is entertaining. (Gary Reber)

The DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1-channel soundtrack is dynamic, especially during the last concert performance. Surround energy is strong and spacious during the ooncert with an enthusiastic audience presence, and supported with solid bass extension and .1 LFE boosts. The prequel to the concert is the comedic interchange between Rod Reiner and band members as individuals or agroup and surprised admirers Paul McCartney and Elton John of the band and their songs. Dialogue is nicely integrated spatially. Fidelity is excellent. This is a fun sholosonic® soundtrack that sounds terrific. (Gary Reber)
