Sarah (Margot Robbie) and David (Colin Farrell) are single strangers who meet at a mutual friend’s wedding and soon, through a surprise twist of fate, find themselves on "A Bold Beautiful Journey" –––a funny, fantastical, sweeping adventure together where they get to relive important moments from their respective pasts, illuminating how they got to where they are in the present…and possibly getting a chance to alter their futures. (Gary Reber)

Special features include the featurettes "Love’s Ever Shifting Landscape: A Relatable Romance" (HD 06:15), "The Magic Behind The Scenes: Crafting The Journey" (HD 05:49) and "A Big Bold Beautiful Musical Number" (HD 93:42) and a Movies Anywhere digital copy.

The 1.85:1 1080p picture, reviewed on a VIZIO Quantum X P85QX-JI UHD/HDR display, was photographed digitally using the Arri Alexa 35 camera system and sourced from a 4K master Digital Intermediate format. The range of settings is diverse whether exterior locations or interiors, both real and surreal. The picture exhibits a natural color palette throughout with stylistic imagery. Colors appear generally warm with perfectly natural flesh tones throughout. Contrast is excellent. Black levels are at times deep while otherwise exhibiting deeper dark grays in set designs. Shadow delineation is nicely delineated. White levels appear natural. Resolution can, at times, be nicely defined but generally is slightly soft as it relates to facial features, costumes, structural definition and object texture. Still, this is a very satisfying visual experience. (Gary Reber_

The DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1-channel soundtrack is dialogue focused with energy derived from various music segments, which extend to the surrounds for envelopment. Atmospherics tend to be somewhat limited to vehicle road noise. Sound effects are supported but limited and rather nuanced overall. Foley sound effects are realistic. Surround envelopment is nuanced as well. Bass energy is generally subdued but at times is elevated in the .1 LFE channel, such as during music segments and an intense car explosion. Dialogue is intelligible but often ADR produced. This is a generally nuanced holosonic® soundtrack that is heavily dialogue centric. (Gary Reber)
